ICAB recognizes Robi with Gold award in Telecommunication & IT category at the National Award for Best Presented Annual Report 2022

Dhaka, October 31, 2023: Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) has recognized Robi Axiata Limited with the Gold award in the Telecommunication & IT category at the National Award for Best Presented Annual Report 2022 event held on Monday, 30th October 2023 at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka. Robi won this prestigious award for the second consecutive year.

Robi’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), M. Riyaaz Rasheed, received the award on behalf of the company from the chief guest of the event, Tipu Munshi, MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Commerce, and the special guest, Dr. Shamsul Alam, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Planning.

Robi’s CFO was accompanied by the company’s Vice President, Treasury Management & Investor Relations, Mohammad Moin Uddin Riad, Vice President, Financial Accounting and Management Reporting, Mohammad Anowar Hossain while receiving the award.

Executive Vice-Chairman, Microcredit Regulatory Authority, Md. Fashiullah, Director General (Grade-1), NGO Affairs Bureau, SK. Md. Moniruzzaman, Chairman, Financial Reporting Council, Dr. Md. Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, and Commissioner, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Dr. Mizanur Rahman were on the stage at the prize giving ceremony. ICAB’s President, Md Moniruzzaman FCA, Chairman, Review Committee for Public Accounts and Reports, Mohammed Humayun Kabir FCA were also present on the occasion.
